This video is a tribute to the late country singer Toby Keith at the 2024 CMT Music Awards. Toby Keith’s family, including his children Shelly, Crystal, and Stellin, were all in attendance for the special moment.

The tribute began with a touching speech by Toby Keith’s longtime friend, baseball star Roger Clemens. Brooks & Dunn followed with a rendition of Toby’s songs “Should’ve Been a Cowboy”, “Run Rope and Ride”, “Where the Wild Wind Blows”, and “My Pony”.

Sammy Hagar also took the stage to honor Toby Keith with “I Love This Bar”, a song he said they loved singing together. Lany Wilson rounded out the tribute with her take on Toby Keith’s song “How Do You Like Me Now?”.

Throughout the tribute, the crowd held up red Solo cups in homage to Toby Keith’s hit song “Red Solo Cup”. The video ends with the crowd chanting “whiskey for my men, beer for my horses” and raising their red Solo cups for Toby Keith.
